Songkran is the Thai newyear, every year April 13. For Thais, it’s a time to spend with family and wishing them new year by sprinkling water on them.

In recent years, the custom of “sprinkling water” has turned into a water fragfest. Some people here try to avoid going out today. I ofcourse took the other route - I brought the camera!

After walking around in Phuket Town for hours and miles (and getting completely soaked every few meters), I had taken around 250 pictures. I will put up a selection here asap.
